Overview:

Secure, stylish and extremely durable; Composite Doors are suitable for all new build properties and replacements projects, and will add value and character to all house types.

Choosing an entrance for your home is an important decision; that is why our composite door range is designed to provide maximum security, weather resistance and energy efficiency, whilst still maintaining style and performance.

Single rebated Composite Doors are 44mm in width, making them ideal for new build applications and as an alternative option to panel doors. Door slabs also sit flush with the door frame offering improved aesthetic appeal.

Security & Durability:

Constructed from high-density polyurethane foam, timber and glass-reinforced plastic outer skins, Composite Doors offer excellent levels of strength and durability. GRP is a lightweight material but has a higher strength ratio than mild steel, making the door virtually impact-resistant.

Multi-point locking systems are fitted as standard to all doors, ensuring only the highest levels of safety and security for your home. For extra security, upgrade to a cylinder-free lock; an innovative locking system combining traditional lever technology with the benefits of modern locking systems.

All Composite Doors are fitted to a strong and secure Inliten door frame. A range of door threshold options are also available, including low/flush thresholds for unrestricted access and enhanced weather-resistance.

Energy Performance:

Composite Doors are designed to provide high levels of energy performance; polyurethane foam, the core material of a composite door, offers outstanding levels of heat insulation and thermal efficiency.

Multi-chambers within the door frame further increases the energy performance of the door by acting as a barrier against heat loss. To further enhance the thermal properties of the door, select a triple glazed glass unit.

Styles & Finishes:

The single rebated Composite Door range features a number of classic and contemporary styles, completed with an authentic grain-effect finish and decorative glass option. Each decorative unit is handcrafted in our in-house glass studio and includes bevel, lead, resin and sandblast designs. A number of unglazed/solid door options are also available.

Composite slabs are fitted to our high-performance Inliten door frames and feature a fully sculptured finish. Both the door slab and frame are available in a range of colour options from grain-effect foils to spray-painted RAL colours.

How to measure for a new PVC front door

These guidelines are to help you measure for a new PVC front and frame and make an accurate measurement.

Measure the door opening outside on both the height and width.

You have to always measure the exact brickwork opening and not the old frame or door.

Measure brick to brick in at least three different places and then deduct 10mm from both the final height and width measurements. - This is to allow for the for 5mm fitting allowance around the new frame. This will make sure the new frame will sit plumb and square once in place.

If you have any gaps then spacers and filler will be required to secure the frame into place and fill any of the gaps.

Vital: Please remember:

  • Do not measure your existing door or frame but measure the brick opening.
  • Make sure to measure in at least three different places and deduct 10mm from both the final height and width measurements - we do not make any fitting allowances on the sizes you provide.
  • All dimensions to be supplied in Metric and all designs viewed externally.

How to Measure - Width

Width
The width should be measured brick to brick at three points - top, middle and bottom of the opening. The smallest of these measurements is taken as the width. Always deduct 10mm from the final width.

How to Measure - Height

Height
The height should be measured brick to brick at three points - left, middle and right of the opening. The smallest of these measurements is taken as the height. Always deduct 10mm from the final height.
